Tissot Claims Odd Victory at Kingsport

The high banked facility known as the “Concrete Jungle” has produced some of the fiercest battles through out the history. Lee Tissot topped the first afternoon practice round edging Clark Houston and Tanner Carter. Tissot went on to repeat as he found himself on top again in the final practice round. Qualifying was up next and it was Weaverville, NC’s Ashton Higgins who captured the Renegade Race Fuels Pole Award, he went on to roll a five on the invert dice. As the field pulled on to the track for the 75 lap feature, little did the fans or the drivers know what they was about to see. Lollis lead the field to the green flag, however it was Hickory’s Clark Houston who jumped out front.
